FAQ

How can I upload material?

Log in with your username and password, go to ‘Library’ and click the upload button. Please make sure you fill in the upload form accurately and completely. This includes a file type, title (without author names), abstract, field, institute, keywords, language and the number of pages or duration in minutes.
Then, click the ‘Browse’ button and select the appropriate file from your harddisk, check if everything is filled out correctly and confirm your submission. Wait while the file is being uploaded. Once this is completed, the file will be sent to the administrators of this site. Your file will be included in the community database within the shortest timeframe possible.

What kind of material am I allowed to share?

First of all, your material must be CSR-related. Whether it relates to citizenship, sustainability, eco-efficiency, human rights or any other subject, your files must be relevant to the field of corporate social responsibility. Also, you may not upload copyrighted files. These include formally published articles, book contents, officially released audio- and video materials, etc. Also, whenever uploading files of which you are not the author, make sure to acquire written permission of the authors in advance. All materials will be checked for conformity to these rules.

Why can I not see the file that I have just uploaded?

Every submission is reviewed by the CSR Center team before being added to the database. We aim to be a high-quality, academic resource of information. Screening files before publicising them allows us to maintain this standard. We work hard to incorporate every serious piece of information into the database as soon as possible, and apologise for any possible, un-intended delay.

How can I find a publication, audio / video fragment, or book?

Click ‘library’ in the main menu bar, then select the appropriate category on the left side of the screen. You can also search the CSR Center database in the library section.

How do I change my profile data?

When logged in, click ‘members’ in the main menu bar, then click the ‘edit’ button.

Why are the essays that I download/look at logged?

This happens so that other users can get a general idea of your fields of interested. This way, students, academics or companies with similar interests can get connected with you. Also, it gives you the opportunity to keep a record of the files you have used.

Why am I logged out immediately after logging in?

Failure to log in could have several courses. Please check if your username and password are entered correctly. If this is the case and you still can not log in, please send us an e-mail describing your problem. We will try to help you get back into the community as soon as possible.

Why can I not stay logged in?

Your browser might be set to delete all temporary internet files after you close it, or not accept cookies. In either case, you might fail to stay logged on to CSR Center. Please check your browser’s settings. If you still can not log in, please send us an e-mail describing your problem. We will try to help you get back into the community as soon as possible.
